Window Shop: See • Scan • Support Local is a collaboration between Makers Union PDX and Portland Made.

We’re popping up in vacant window fronts with displays featuring work from makers selling through the MUPDX digital marketplace, products from makers who are members of Portland Made, and those who identify as Black, Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) makers in the Portland Metro Area.

“Window Shop” by scanning a QR code on the window which will direct you to PDXwindowshop.com where you can purchase the items available in each window.

Half of the brands represented are owned by BIPOC makers.

Due to Covid-19, many of these artists cannot access markets to sell their goods. As you know, the businesses of local makers and artisans have been gravely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, which has not only prevented them from selling their goods at in-person events, but has also resulted in many of them losing their jobs, which help supplement their income.

15% of sales goes to support Black Resilience Fund.  15% of the money you spend on a product today will be donated to Black Resilience Fund so they may continue to do the incredible work they do to heal and bring justice to Black community members through direct action.
